Before committing to a walk, you can start by clicking an egg 😅

There's a little interactive demo on our homepage: pick your party size and try the shared pact. It simulates the daily check-ins so you can see the idea in action.

The actual walking is still on us.

I don't want keeping track of exercise to become another daily chore.

That's why we're connecting the Android app to Health Connect. The aim is to bring your activity into Pact Pals without having to type your numbers in each day.

A small bit of the app, but one I care about getting right.

Not every pact is going to work out 😅

One thing I care about with Pact Pals: a missed goal shouldn't be where you give up. You can make another pact with your friends and try again.

I'd love this to help with the getting-back-to-it part too. That's usually the hard bit for me.

I like the idea of having something to look back on after finishing a goal with friends.

In Pact Pals, the pet you hatch is yours to keep. I'd love opening the collection to remind me of the walks that got us there 🙂

This is an early concept for that collection screen.

A little preview of the pet artwork we're working on for Pact Pals 🙂

This is the part where being a gamer sneaks into building a fitness app. We've got everything from a tiny mushroom to an axolotl.

Which one would you want in your collection?

I asked a few people on what their worst gifts were

The common denominator is that the gifts aren't thoughtful and personalised

That's why we built Giftey, your agentic gifting assistant that's thoughtful and reliable in nature.

We've got some codes to redeem:

One thing I want to get right with Pact Pals: it should feel welcoming when you're just getting started with exercise.

A group of friends can have very different fitness levels. I'd like making that first pact to feel achievable for everyone, including the person who mostly wants a reason to leave their desk.

What would a manageable first goal look like for you?

Wolf is live. It's an office fixer in Slack: ask in a thread, it checks the house rules, builds the basket and tracks the delivery. The waitlist is open at thewolf.chat.

Shipped two products in one hackathon. Wolf came first, and seven hours in Hive was "nearly ready for users".

Installed clients now update without having to sign in again, and Hive tells you when it's unreachable rather than asking you to log back in.

We tightened privacy. Sensitive captures are now blocked before any model request, password values are stripped out, and code filenames stay out of observations.

My favourite bit is that agents share things even when nobody asks. A Claude Code Stop hook asks the session once, before it stops, what a teammate would otherwise have to rediscover.

You can ask through hive_ask and get an answer built from the team's learnings, with citations, a confidence level and the gaps it doesn't know about yet.

The gohive CLI is on npm. Run npx gohive@latest install and it finds Claude Code and Codex, connects them and installs the hooks. It's on 0.2.6 now.

How did I know what to get for Ash??

Built Hive in one day at the Lightdash offsite launchathon on 12 October. It's a shared memory for a team's coding agents, and both install paths were tested against production that same day.

Life gets busy, Sometimes we forget to buy gifts for an occasion, That's why we built Giftey, your agentic gifting assistant so that it remembers when and knows exactly what to get for your people.
